With a deep passion for helping people achieve and maintain financial independence, Ted founded WealthPlan Advisors Group in April of 2001. A primary focus of Ted’s clients, among other things, is that they want to know that their needs will be met, while understanding that their lives, along with the economy and markets, will continue to change throughout the many seasons in their lives.
He has developed and refined The Seasons Formula process to address those client concerns – the critical financial events that occur as a client’s life unfolds and their needs evolve.
Ted began his career in 1985 with MetLife and became a Certified Financial Planner practitioner in 2003. He is a member and past President of the Financial Planning Association, Chapter of Greater St. Louis. He was born and raised in South St. Louis County, MO. He has always had a deep fascination with economic and market history, and that methodical and analytic nature is aligned with and informs his philosophy, planning strategies and process in the financial industry.
He has been sponsored by Jefferson College to provide educational courses in retirement planning to the outlying community and continues to offer educational workshops on Retirement Income and Taxes in Retirement. He supports local High Schools by volunteering to broaden their education in the area of financial planning and investments.
Ted and his wife of 30 years, Cheryl, live in Arnold, MO and enjoy the area and all its activities. He loves spending time with his 3 children, Kevin, Robbie and Hannah, and his grandson Logan. Ted enjoys spending time at the lake with his family swimming, boating, skiing and playing golf. He also enjoys reading, mostly about our country’s history.
